Habitat Philadelphia works alongside current homeowners in Philadelphia to make critical repairs that keep families stable, healthy and secure while lowering utility bills and protecting a generational asset.
Habitat Philadelphia repairs focus on a partnership approach rather than a typical contractor relationship. They are completed by Habitat Philadelphia staff, professional subcontractors and skilled volunteers and are completely free of charge.
Home Repair StepsHousehold size includes children residing in the home at least 50% of the time. Household income is calculated based on the gross income of all adults. Below, the maximum income is based on 80% of the current HUD Area Median Income (AMI) for Philadelphia.
